Mr Jones

Good Morning and thank you

I mislaid your contact number. Can I have it please?

I would like advice on how to replace the floor section below the drivers pedal area please?
The main issue is how to ensure that the stabiliser bar that is attached to the floor goes back in the same place

Thanks
Ian

Try the local autoparts supplier, Europarts, Brown Bros, etc. I actually used MGB floor panels

Hi Toffo

20SWG is fine but do add the top hat strengthen rib , you will also need to add some impress strength into the sheet steel, it is important.
Or look through a pattern panel book, select a likely panel and trim it to fit, cheap and they work.

Hello

I have just bought a magnette and want to replace the floor. I am unsure what thickness of steel to use. Can anyone advise please?

I planned to use 20 gauge as it's easy to work with, but then add cross braces to give strength and stop any flexing.

Good idea, or should I use 18 gauge?

Thanks for the help.
