The Australian Z & Y Register attended 60th anniversary of the MG TD
We had a great turn up when Z and Y Register attended 60th anniversary of the MG TD at George Hetrel's 'Como Gardens' ;located in the Dandenong ranges close to Melbourne.

Gathering of the Faithful
Four Magnettes and an 1100 set off from Pheasants Nest on Friday touring scenic countryside on a quiet backroad through Crookwell, Boorowa, Harden, Cootamundra, Junee to Wagga Wagga.

What I Did On My Weekend Off Work

Good driving conditions (a mixture of sun and overcast with no rain) on Saturday saw around twenty Magnettes arriving to a warm welcome at Lou and John Shorten's for a cuppa, a chat, some spares and and, in my case, some technical assistance after a flooded engine.

Athelhampton
Having decided that we would make Athelhampton an official register event for 2009, the register committee were hopeful that we would be able to encourage a few Magnettes along to the event which is run each year by Nigel Hedges who has a reputation for putting on a good event. Not only was it a very enjoyable event, but we managed to get more cars in attendance than anticipated!.
