Gala Fall Classic and Antique Auto parade and exhibition
I present a brief report of our participation in the Sixth Gala Fall Classic and Antique Auto, parade and exhibition, held on 26 and November 27, 2011, a totally familiar event that took place in the street Pier and Kiosk of our city, La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The effort to maintain the presence of MG, with the participation of our ZB Magnette 1959, has been successful! On Sunday 27 during the exhibition at the kiosk "Malecon Costero" our ZB was placed in front of the event, welcoming and arousing much interest among the visitors, gaining recognition first as the "Best Exhibition Vehicle ".
As you can see from the attached photos, other vehicles involved were: 1929 Ford Model A, Ford Model A, 1930, 1948 Dodge Pick Up, Ford Coupe 1950. It's hard to compete in a market square where the dominant are the American Cars, however, represented by our vehicles MG Magnette, and the information presented on a flip chart with a summary of the history of the MG Car Company, and production of the Magnette, always attracts much attention from visitors and gratitude, and now the recognition of the judges and organizers.
The result achieved commits us to continue to participate in more encouragement! in the events scheduled for 2012, which we expect to complete the reconstruction of a second model Magnette 1956.
