La Paz City, Mexico
Greetings to all Magnetteers from La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The 2012 season of classic and antique car shows started in this beautiful city and port of Mexico!
Here is a brief report of our participation in parade and exhibition of classic and antique car “Celebrations of La Paz City Foundation” which took place last weekend . As usual this is a totally family event that takes place in the Malecon Street and Kiosk of our city.
We are pleased to report that the presence of MG cars has been increasing in this city, during the parade participated a MG TD 1952 and 1980 Roadster. During the exhibition we participated with our Magnette ZB 1959. Again we put a flip chart with information of providers, summary history of the MG Car Company and videos of MG Cars, that always attract the attention of visitors and brings us their gratitude, because we are the only participant to provide such information.
It is incredible that there continue to be amazing cars. As you can see in the photos, the best vehicle for the exhibition was the very nice 54 Buick, special recognition for the Station Wagon Ford 1928, and for the Chevy Corvette 1957. Of course, my Magnette 59 again took the prize as the best European sedan.
