23rd Magnette Day

New heat records in Germany with temperatures more than 40 degress Celsius. Luckily the location for this years Magnette Day was on the bank of Lake Constance. So not only the MG youngsters could take a refresher, also one or another crew went for a cooling-down swim after a long journey in the "well-tempered" MG.

20 Teams registered, but not all could bring their Magnettes and were placed on the back seats of the other MGs. However 15 Zeds and even 1 Farina from Austria, England, Germany, Luxenbourg, und Switzerland. shone in the sunshine.

The programme was very relaxed and so we started with a BBQ at the house of organiser Richard Gervé, himself owner of "some" Magnettes. The last people went to bed very late in the night. The saturday was a short scenic drive along the Lake Constance with a vistit to castle Meersburg. A lunch stop with a wonderful sight over the Lake followed. Well, in the evening  we stayed in a gemuetlich pub.

On sunday morning the Ray Cain trophy was handed over to Thomas and Christina Nebauer from Austria. He was so excited, that he offered toorganise the Magnette Day 2020 in the Salzburg area again.
